Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept. has issued hundreds of children ID card this year. It is to follow up Home Ministry Regulation No. 2/2016 on Children ID Card.
For the first stage, we start from children aged 0-5 years old when they processed birth certificate
According to Remon Masadian, Head of Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-dept., since January 1-April 11, there have been 478 children ID cards issued.

The card could be used when the user wants to enroll in schools. Even, data recording for children has been intensified and has been registered in national system.
"This card is used until ID card printing when they are seventeen," he stated.
